About me
aka “Yayoi”. I was born in Japan, moved to the Bay Area, San Francisco, and moved to Berkeley, to raise a family. I have been part of Oh-In Taiko, founded by Jimi Nakagawa (also my sensei) for the past 10 years. I started Taiko later in life, at age 60. I look forward to being inspired by the students and teachers who will be at the conference.
