Miki Saito (she/her), a shinobue artist, educator, and influencer from Yokohama, Japan, is passionate about sharing the beauty of this ancient Japanese instrument with the world. Her 25 years of music education background and bilingual ability have allowed her to create a YouTube channel (Miki Saito Shinobue Adventure) dedicated to showcasing this unique instrument, and she has successfully grown her subscriber base to more than 2,000.
Drawing from the teachings of her mentor, Bunta Satoh sensei, and her expertise in operatic singing, Miki has developed a shinobue technique that she joyfully imparts through tutorials, sheet music, performance videos, and a newsletter available on her website, saitomusic.com.
