About me
Meg Suzuki Hudson (she/her) began playing taiko and shinobue with Odaiko New England in 1999 and became a Performing Member of San Jose Taiko in 2003. She joined San Jose Taiko’s Administrative Staff in 2005 and is currently San Jose Taiko's Outreach Coordinator. In addition to teaching youth, adult, and senior taiko classes for the San Jose Taiko Conservatory, she has also led workshops for the North American Taiko Conference, NorCal Regional Taiko Gathering, and Collegiate Taiko Invitationals. Meg has degrees in Flute Performance from the Hartt School of Music, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and is an alum of the Tanglewood, Aspen, Sarasota, and Pacific Music Festivals.
